Alone Much?

by

It’s not good for people to be alone. Oh, I know that there are times when we would like to have some peace and quiet. But we need to spend time with other people to unload the highs and lows of our day. If we keep things to ourselves, we may eventually explode. Remember other people may have gone through the same things you are dealing with, and they can help. There are many ways to connect with others: phone, internet, or the old fashioned way of sitting down face to face sharing and listening. Start sharing with someone today. Comment here.

  1. Robert O'Brien Says:

I have lived alone for most of my 63 years. However, I have been fortunate over the years to find caring friends in the church in whatever place I happened to live. There have been times though when I missed having a person at home with which I could talk about the good and bad times that occured that day, and that can be depressing for me. Thank God I know that he is always there and I can talk to Him. He is always concerned and since I am sure He is there I know that I am never truely alone.

  2. Dwayne Johnson Says:

The church is one of the best resources to overcome loneliness. God said in Genesis 2:18 that “it’s not good for man to be alone”, this is in reference to a man having a suitable helper (wife), and I’m sorry you have missed that, but the church family gives great support and is the next best thing. You also said that God is always there for you. You could not be more correct. We can always talk to God without fear of Him not listening. Thanks for your post.
