Have you noticed what happens when a celebrity expresses their opinion on an issue? Even though they have no expertise about the matter, we listen to what they say and agree with them just because they are famous. In fact, it seems the public will act according to the star’s opinion, even if the star is wrong. Since everyone seems to think the same way about it, we figure it must be ok. But sometimes, what the “herd” is doing is not ok. In fact, it could be dangerous, immoral or unethical. Remember the days when it was considered chic to smoke. Celebrities even endorsed smoking until we discovered it led to disease. Have you ever heard this saying “There is a broad way that leads to destruction…?” Want to know what that means?
