Say “Thank You”

by

Has someone ever told you “Thanks” after you have done something for them? Remember how nice that was? Many times I have received a “Thank you, sir” after holding the door open or when I’ve stepped aside in a narrow aisle in the truck stop. There is the other side of the picture, where someone walks through as if you owed it to them. I have even heard an exchange between two drivers where one tried to correct the other by asking where his “Thank you” was. The other driver answered by saying, “If you’re waiting for a ‘Thank you,’ then you really didn’t do it out of the kindness of your heart.” Sounded like a quick comeback, but it was really just an excuse. Saying thanks to those who help us will go a long way to improving our outlook, relationships and the quality of our days. Share you appreciation with someone today. Comment here.
