Many drivers tell me that their log books are fairy tales. Some say it’s impossible to make money when running an honest log book. They’re not alone. Numerous surveys and studies have been done to test people on their integrity. Most people admitted that they would cheat to gain an advantage. Problem is when we tell one lie; we then have to tell another to make our stories fit. Abraham Lincoln said, “No man has a good enough memory to make a successful liar.” That’s because when the lies fall apart, it’s usually with disastrous results.
