When a marriage is new, things like money, having kids, a mortgage, and other issues crowd in and make it hard for newlyweds to see eye to eye. As a marriage matures, different difficulties come up as kids get older, your income grows, and new issues, such as parenting, materialism, and retirement investing come into play.
