Many trucking companies have not hesitated to dive head first into the digital age to help with the communication and accountability of their day to day operations. This has been beneficial in the area of dispatching their drivers. At one time, we had to pull over and find a payphone during business hours to receive our next instructions. Today drivers can phone in from the comfort of their cabs or even use computers to obtain their instructions. Companies now have the capability of pinpointing the exact location of their vehicles and drivers. Of course, along with the good comes the bad.
