Even though you travel the highways everyday and interact with many different people, loneliness has a way of settling in and disconnecting us from the outside world. It’s hard to find someone to have a real conversation with when you’re driving eleven hours a day and aren’t able to see family regularly. Do you find yourselves saying things like “Who cares?” or “Whatever.” These might be some signs that you are lonely. Let me encourage you to see out a person or two that you can call at any time. Just being able to share your thoughts and struggles will help you get through those lonely times. You could also use the quiet times to do something you like, maybe reading or listening to your favorite music, or just going for a walk. There’s always someone available to listen. Comment here.
