A television show called The Starter Wife revolves around a recently divorced woman and her daughter starting a new life together. The characters confront the many difficulties that follow a divorce such as emotional pain, financial shortfalls and parenting complications. Even though the show is very popular and has been nominated for several awards, the issues they discuss are very real. In real life, there are no popularity awards given to divorcees. It is painful and sometimes there are lifelong scars. Maybe you have experienced this pain. Maybe you are contemplating a divorce right now.
